FIELD: ammunition. SUBSTANCE: bullet has a metal envelope with longitudinal grooves and chamfer of the head top, as well as a built-up slug located in the envelope, the rear part of the built-up envelope has a recess, and the bullet is furnished with a washer for closing it with the edge of the envelope; the length of the slug fore-part makes up 0.01 to 1.2 of the envelope head. The recess may be made in the form of a cone or sphere. EFFECT: improved close grouping of shots due to guaranteed filling of free cavity under the chamfer providing for stable position of bullet when it leaves the barrel at a shot. 1 dwg
