FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biologically active addition to food that contains silver ions dissolved in alcohol-containing solutions. Solutions are obtained by addition of water-soluble silver salt to salicylic acid alcoholic solution at the ratio of silver salt to salicylic acid = (1:1)-(1:10). Silver acetate can be used as a silver salt source. Obtained biologically active addition shows the synergetic effect of its components, provides the enhanced permeability into cells, it shows antiseptic, wound-healing and antiviral effects, improves hemopoietic and metabolic processes and can be used widely in production of foodstuffs, curative-prophylactic, alcoholic, weak alcoholic and nonalcoholic foods and perfume-cosmetic products.
