FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves tracing irregular lines of future incisions encircling skin excesses. The inferior line corresponds to future skin fold boundary. Incisions are made along the traced lines after applying anesthesia. Protruding part of the orbicular muscle and fat hernia are dissected. Proximal sheet of the tarso-orbital fascia is cut by making up to 5 mm long radial incisions, into trapezoid flaps. Intracutaneous suture is put on wound edges after hemostasis. EFFECT: improved cosmetic result; eliminated narrowing in lid slit.
