FIELD: mechanical engineering; emergency brake for hoist trolley. SUBSTANCE: difficulty in operation with trolley brake is caused by nonuniform brake effort applied to trolley and nonuniform wear of brake linings. Springs used in device maintain brake forces, applied to shoes, constant. Spring are compressed by hydraulic piston and cylinder. Spring shift member operated by cam along cam surfaces whose shape forces cam-operated member to shift shoe towards other brake shoe. Change-over switches controlled by cam-operated member prevent movement of trolley when springs are not compressed and shoe is worn out. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of brake and hoist. 18 cl, 7 dwg
