FIELD: gold recovery. SUBSTANCE: gold- containing molybdenum-based parts are treated with hydrofluoric acid and then with urea. Resulting solution is treated with copper powder to precipitate gold and form pulp, from which gold is filtered off together with other insoluble materials, mainly molybdenic acid. Precipitate is then treated with water and 10% sodium hydroxide solution to dissolve molybdenic acid, after which gold slurry on filter is washed with water, dehydrated, and melted. EFFECT: increased degree of recovery and reduced expenses.
