FIELD: pyrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes oxidative firing to produce calcine, preparation of charge, and melting it to yield iron-sodium slag and gold-containing alloy. According to invention, oxidative firing is carried out at 600-750 C for 10-15 h, and subjected to melting is slurry containing 35-43% calcine, 35-43% saltpeter, and 20-30% borax.
