FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of processing gold-silver alloys to produce gold refers to the hydrometallurgy of precious metals and can be used in the processing of gold-silver alloys. Gold-silver alloys are dissolved in aqua regia. Then, sodium hydroxide solution is injected into the pulp to a pH value of from 0.5 to 1.5 units. Carry out the separation of silver chloride by filtration. Gold-containing solution is treated with urea and precipitated gold with sodium sulfite. Golden precipitate is washed with concentrated hydrochloric acid and then with distilled water.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of the duration of the process and the consumption of sodium sulfite.
