FIELD: practice of deposition of electrochemical platings, applicable for strengthening of surfaces of machine parts, instruments and tools. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in production of interelectrode space between the surfaces of the anode and cathode with running-through of electrolyte-suspension containing particles of disperse phase of a definite size through the produced space. The rate of flow of electrolyte- suspension in the space between the anode and cathode is cyclically varied in such a way that in each cycle the rate of flow facilitating mechanical activation of the cathode surface by particles of the disperse phase is followed by a rate facilitating overgrowth of particles with plating, and the values of these rates are determined from the condition expressed in the form of a reduced mathematical dependence.
