FIELD: mechanical engineering, electroplating, deposition of composite coats for protection of parts against wear and for formation of cutting edges on tools. SUBSTANCE: given process makes it possible to deposit composition coats with uniform distribution of particles of powder of any graininess on surface of any curvature and over section of coat without disruption of precision of profile of part. Part to be coated is partially submerged into convex elastic bottom of bath at stage of attachment of powder particles where deposition of composite coat is carried out. Folds of elastic bottom insulate uncoated surface and powder in needed quantity is poured on surface free of insulating material and is kept well on it due to presence of folds of elastic bottom limiting it. Convex bottom of bath is formed thanks to sagging of elastic material used as bottom when bath is lowered into liquid with density higher than that of solution for deposition.
