FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: device is intended for cleaning pipe strings of wells from paraffin-asphaltene sediments. Device has hollow cylindrical body which carries holder with openings. Installed in these openings with possible radial reciprocating movement are cutter holders with cutting members. Adapter by means of shear pin is connected with body. Body is made with openings which correspond to openings in holder. Device is provided with wedge-type pushers located inside body against its openings and adapted for interaction with boy. Wedge-type pushers are arranged with their narrow part facing towards adapter. Inclined surfaces of wedge-type pushers have longitudinal slots which accommodate cutter holders. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for carrying out higher quality cleaning of production string in well and this will prevent failure of deep-well pumping equipment together with reduction in number of subsurface repairs usually linked with poor cleaning of production strings in well.
