FIELD: tyre industry, break-down of worn-out tyres. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has tyre debeader, feeder of debeaded tyres for destruction and tyre break-down device built around capacitors. To provide connection of break-down device to metal cord, it has axially-symmetrical means in form of pair of current-carrying locks in form of truncated cones from side of working surfaces. Device has at least one arrangement to remove products from working zone. Axially-symmetrical means for connecting pulse spark gap to metal cord is provided with additional current-carrying projection. This projection is arranged coaxially relative to both current-carrying locks and is conductively connected to one of them and is electrically insulated from the other. EFFECT: enhanced ecological safety, increased efficiency of reprocessing of worn-out tyres and power intensity. 9 cl, 9 dwg
