FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage pulse engineering, particularly to high-current pulse gas-filled dischargers, meant for use as switches in well electrohydraulic installations. The gas-filled discharger has electrodes with terminals, fitted opposite each other in a metal case, and insulators in form of flattened cones, the smaller bases of which are attached to the electrodes, and the larger bases to the butt-ends of the case. The discharger is placed inside a protective metallic shield. The terminals are separated from the case and the protective shield by additional insulators. At least one terminal has a spring element. Also the protective shield has on its ends joining elements in form of a thread or flange. The additional insulators cover the entire length of the terminals. The terminals and the additional insulators cannot turn about each other and the protective shield. The spring element in the terminal is made from a spring, bellows element or coaxial cable sheath. Between the case and the protective shield there is a shock pad.
EFFECT: increased resistance of the discharger to high hydrostatic pressure and impact mechanical load.
