FIELD: transport engineering; vibration protection of operator. SUBSTANCE: shock absorber has working chamber secured between bases. First base is designed for connection with object to be protected from vibration. Second base is used for connection with vibration source. Shock absorber has additional chamber and cylinder with two end face holes. Piston is installed in cylinder for free movement between end face. Shock absorber has three pneumatic channels. First channel connects working chamber with one of cylinder end face holes. Second channel connects additional chamber with other end face hole of cylinder. Shock absorbed has control unit, speed sensor arranged on first base and connected to first inlet of control unit, and electric valve built into third pneumatic channel and electrically coupled with control unit outlet. Limits switch electrically connected to second inlet of control unit consists of hermetically sealed reed relay and permanent magnet. Reed relay is secured on cylinder end face, and permanent magnet is fastened on piston end face. Third pneumatic channel connects working and additional chambers. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of vibration protection by simplifying shock absorber control system and cutting additional chamber out of operation with bases moving in opposite directions. 1 dwg
