FIELD: fixed ammunition. SUBSTANCE: the cartridge consists of a cartridge case with a primer cap, powder charge and bullet. The bullet is made of a metal envelope and a lead slug with plane front and rear end faces; the relation between the rear end face and the front one makes up 1.55...1.65. The novelty in the bullet consists in the fact that the distance from the slug rear end to the end of the bullet tail section does not exceed 1.5 mm, and the envelope tail section is made with a bend, having the shape of a circular truncated cone with a minimum height of 1.5 mm, base maximum diameter of 5.15 mm and maximum angle between the truncated cone generator and bullet axis of 20 deg. EFFECT: enhanced bullet velocity and pressure of powder gases.
