FIELD: hunting and sports weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of ammunition for sports and hunting weapons. Pyroxylin powder for the equipment of hunting and sports cartridges of caliber 7.62x51 contains pyroxylin VA, diphenylamine as a stabilizer of chemical resistance, graphite as an antistatic additive and residual technological components in the form of volatile substances that are removed and not removed by drying. The powder is made in the form of cylindrical grains with a diameter of 0.63-0.77 mm with one channel with a diameter of 0.09-0.15 mm, having the web thickness of 0.27-0.31 mm. Powder contains oligoester acrylate TGM-3 as a phlegmatizer and potassium sulfate as a pore-forming agent and flame extinguishing agent at the following component content, wt. %: diphenylamine 1.0-2.0; volatile substances removed by drying 0.9-1.6; volatile substances not removed by drying, no less than 0.2; potassium sulfate no more than 0.5; graphite no more than 0.4; oligoester acrylate TGM-3 2.8; pyroxylin VA the rest.
EFFECT: flameless shot is ensured and, as a result, the wear of the bore of the weapon is reduced.
