FIELD: geodesy, construction, topography. SUBSTANCE: transmitting system includes radiation source in the form of laser, collimator of laser radiation, rotary mirror and rotary prism. Receiving system includes lens, photodetector in the form of avalanche photodiode, heterodyne generator, mixer, phase measurement device and automatic controller of level of received signal made in the form of amplifier, amplitude detector and controlled high-voltage source linked to cathode of avalanche photodiode connected in series. Receiving lens has central aperture where rotary reflecting prism which reflecting face is located at angle of 45 deg with respect to optical axis of lens is installed. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy, enlarged range of measured ranges, expanded functional capabilities of phase light range finder thanks to improved signal-to-noise ratio, minimization of influence of parallax and strictly definite relative positions of optical axis of radiation source and case of range finder. 1 dwg
