FIELD: cellular telecommunication networks and associated accounting and billing operations within networks. SUBSTANCE: system with communication protocol "Data Message Handler" (DMH) is organized by returning new message "data back for paging" from address mobile switching center (MSC) or from visiting mobile switching center (V-MSC) to servicing MSC or group MSC (G-MSC) after paging result has been determined in V- MSC. This is attained by process involving following stages: generation of first identifying data bills for paging in servicing MSC; transmission of first identifying data bills for address MSC; generation of second identifying data bills for address MSC corresponding to page arriving at address MSC; return of second identifying data bills as related identifying data bills for servicing MSC after paging result has been determined in address MSC. Paging result is determined after response to page has been received by V-MSC from mobile station or, as an alternative, paging occurred by locking-on communication channel between servicing MSC and address MSC. EFFECT: provision for returning reliable data associated with identification of paging bills to G-MSC by means of data message handler. 28 cl, 5 dwg
