FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: dilator may be used for expanding of man's nose passages. Dilator has multilayer construction with pair of separated end surfaces. This construction provides for recovering the force acting between end surfaces if they move towards each other. Recovering force of multilayer construction is ensured by flexible plate positioned between its opposite ends. Plate has many grooves on each end which exceed at least one third of plate thickness. Multilayer construction may also include second identical plate. Dilator is of monobody structure which allows reduction of material expenditure during manufacture.
