FIELD: materials handling machinery. SUBSTANCE: steering control post has steering platform mounted on machine frame and seat connected to steering platform through seat leg. Tubular member is connected to steering platform in vertical position, and seat leg and tubular member are installed, at least partially, one inside the other, and are secured in place by supports so that seat leg can displace relative to tubular member in vertical direction and can turn around its longitudinal axis under action of torque reaching the value or exceeding the preset value by turning the supports in place of their attachment.
