FIELD: diagnostics of running gear of automobiles. SUBSTANCE: connecting tie-rod is placed perpendicular to working elements of changeable length. Working elements of changeable length are set in parallel one to another. Connecting tie-rod is made fast to both working elements of changeable length and is mounted in base for turning about longitudinal axis by means of bearings. Base embraces connecting tie-rod and can turn about its axis with the aid of bearings. Working elements of changeable length can be manufactured in the form of telescopic rods. Measuring unit made in the form of measurement elements contacting automobile wheel disks is positioned on guides located perpendicular to working element of changeable length and linked to them. Measurement elements are mounted on guides for translation along then and rotation about their axes. EFFECT: reduced labor input and time for diagnostics, improved conditions for handling of test bed. 1 cl, 4 dwg
