FIELD: magnetic separation. SUBSTANCE: material to be separated is fed through charging port by the aid of worm into transporting cylindrical drum. Speed of rotation of this drum should be such that material to be separated were uniformly spread all over the inner surface of drum. Material to be separated advances along generatrix of transporting cylindrical drum forced by continuously fed new portions of material. In the top part of transporting cylindrical drum, material comes into operation zone of magnet which attracts magnetic fraction to outer surface of internal cylindrical rotating drum installed with shift in respect to top part of transporting drum and carries this fraction out of the separation zone through clearance. Magnetic fraction further gets onto drop board and is withdrawn beyond separator. A part of magnetic particles remaining on outer surface of drum is brushed and also withdrawn beyond separator. Non-magnetic fraction is continuously displaced beyond inner surface of transporting drum and comes to discharge unit. Apparatus may find use in agriculture production, flour-milling industry, and in metallurgy. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 2 dwg
