GUIDE-STILET Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: urology. SUBSTANCE: guide-stilet has bent clamp with operating jaws, metal stilet with seat for stationary catch by clamp, and sleeve with cylindrical part, tapered part, adapter and rod. Internal side of operating jaws has groove corresponding to rod sizes. Stilet has square section with acute corners to realize "reamer" principle. Tapered and cylindrical parts of sleeve are detachable. They are of three standard sizes. Clamp is bent according to radius, and adapter is provided with hole for fixing of ureter by ligature. As a result, surgeon has no difficulties associated with interposition of tissues, including cases complicated by distance scary sclerous variations in submucous layer.
