FIELD: automotive industry; car equipment. SUBSTANCE: protective pan has panel made of synthetic material, mainly kevlar glass reinforced plastic, panel fasteners and metal, mainly steel, cover plate rigidly secured to panel under engine unit crankcase for protection. Ventilation and fabrication ports (holes) are made in panel and plate. Plate is arranged under panel to form combination structure. Panel has port (opening) in zone of conjugation with plate to suit plate outline. Trough-shaped panel is preferable: part of stiffening ribs of panel form peripheral flange and projections - locks shaped for mating with car adjacent members.
