KNITTED CLOTHING MANUFACTURE METHOD Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of ready-made knitted articles such as jackets. SUBSTANCE: method involves knitting rectangular fabric 10 with two long sides 12,13 and two short sides 11; folding knitted fabric in at least two points in parallel with short sides 11 for forming rear part 14 and side parts 15 of clothing. Remaining parts of knitted fabric adjacent short sides form divided front part 16 with V-shaped neck front part. Each front part 16 is coupled with at least two marks for creases 18,19,21,23,24 formed during knitting of fabric 10, of which at least two marks extend from long side to converge at point 20 in spaced relation with short sides 11 of knitted fabric. Each front part 16 is folded along crease marks and connected with other front part 16 so as to form double layer. Method further involves making arm openings in each side part of knitted fabric. EFFECT: simplified method of manufacture knitted clothing and reduced consumption of manual operations. 7 cl, 2 dwg
