FIELD: medicine, particularly, clinical laboratory diagnoses. SUBSTANCE: method consists in examination of patient's saliva after introduction per os of antipyrine in dose of 10 mg per kg body weight. Saliva is collected in 24 h from beginning of analysis, and at concentration of antipyrine in examined sample of less than 2 mg/ml, poisoning with narcotic is diagnosed. Method allows making diagnosis of positioning at early stages of disease. Simplicity, low cost and safety of method render it suitable for practice in narcologic institutions, recruiting stations, military units and in risk groups with the aim somatic rehabilitation of addicts. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosis.
