FIELD: electrical engineering, design and manufacture of electric machines. SUBSTANCE: given electric machine has body housing armature, couple of bearing units and rotor manufactured in the form of hollow shaft with output end and space where permanent magnet is located. Cap with tail part is linked up in agreement with invention to shaft in area of start of its space. Second bearing unit is put on tail part of cap and is located in body. Process of manufacture of rotor of given electric machine includes making of hollow shaft with output end, installation of permanent magnet in space of shaft, fabrication of cap with tail part. Outer diameters of shaft, its output end and tail part of cap have allowances by diameter. After link-up of shaft and cap they are given rotation with reference to axis passing through centers of end faces of tail part of cap and output shaft. Stocks allowed are removed before moment of provision of nominal dimensions of machined surfaces and their alignment. EFFECT: enhanced adaptability to manufacture, reduced moment of inertia of rotating parts and expanded range of speeds of proposed electric machine. 2 cl, 4 dwg
