FIELD: radio broadcasting. SUBSTANCE: method of high-frequency radio broadcasting includes process of broadcasting for simultaneous transmission of analog and digital signals in standard of A M broadcasting channel and provides for transmission of amplitude- modulated high-frequency signal with first frequency spectrum. Amplitude-modulated high-frequency signal includes first carrier amplitude-modulated by analog signal of broadcasting program and by simultaneous broadcast transmission of collection of signals with digital modulation of carrier in frequency band that contains mentioned first frequency spectrum. In this case each signal with digital modulation of carrier carries modulation by portion of digital signal of broadcast program. First group of signals with digital modulation of carrier lying in first frequency spectrum is modulated in quadrature with signal of first carrier and second and third groups of signals with digital modulation of carrier lie outside first frequency spectrum and are modulated both in phase and in quadrature with signal of first carrier. High-frequency transmitter and receiver that operate in accordance with above-mentioned method include means to carry out specified operations. EFFECT: provision for interband, interchannel broadcasting by which digital presentation of material of audio programs or any digital data can be sent over existing broadcasting amplitude-modulated channel without meddling into existing analog receivers. 23 cl, 4 dwg
