SUBSTANCE: instrument has electromechanical transducer of muscle elasticity, unit of preliminary processing of signals, unit of data automatic processing and recording, indicator, signalling device with variable characteristic of signal, and power supply unit. Instrument may also include transducer of compression of body outer integuments and changeable unit of long-time storage of information. Muscle elasticity transducer contains two moving members, two electric transduces of moving member displacements, and pressure force regulator. Construction of transducer in combination with continuous automatic processing and recording of data makes it possible not only to determine local values of muscular tension, but also to perform continuous examination along certain line on surface of body, for example along vertebral column.
