FIELD: laser techniques in different branches of machine engineering for cutting out materials. SUBSTANCE: installation includes manipulator, control system and laser. Manipulator includes two traverse bars arranged mutually in parallel for moving cross piece on them along X-axis. Lens placed on traverse bar is moved along Y-axis. Technological laser includes functional unit with power source, systems providing laser operation, reservoirs with working gases and optical resonator. Laser head is mounted on cross piece and it is rigidly joined with lens. Functional unit is mounted on movable block and it may move independently upon cross piece of manipulator. Laser head and functional unit are connected by means of supply lines. EFFECT: possibility of using high-power lasers providing enlarged technological resources at high dynamic characteristics. 4 cl, 2 dwg
