FIELD: preparation of insulating compositions, more particularly insulation of building reinforced concrete and metal structures, and anticorrosion protection of pipelines, production equipment, and automobile bottoms. SUBSTANCE: described is composition for hydroinsulating coating comprising plasticizer, bitumen and organic solvent. Composition further comprises synthetic rubber modified with leather dust and corrosion inhibitor Agidol-80 which results from 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol production waste (Agidol-1) which comprises, wt %: 2,6-di-tert- butyl-4-methylphenol, not more than 15; dimers of 2,6-di- tert-butyl-4-methylphenols and substituted bisphenols, at least 40; resin, not more than 30, ratios of components being as follows wt %: bitumen, 20.0-38.0; plasticizer, 5.0-10.0; Agidol-80; 1.5-8.5; synthetic rubber modified with leather dust, 5.0-15.0; and the organic solvent balance.
