FIELD: petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: vacuum gas oil is subjected to catalytic cracking in presence of microspherical zeolite-containing catalyst. Supplied additionally to reactor sleeve lower part is low-bracket gasoline fraction containing not more than 500 ppm of sulfur. This fraction is produced as byproduct on plants of deep desulfurization of straight-run diesel fractions. EFFECT: increased output of components of motor gasolines with reduced content of sulfur in cracked gasoline. 1 tbl
