JUNCTION POWERED SUPPORT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: underground mineral mining, particularly, powered supports of longwall-to- gate junctions. SUBSTANCE: support includes two coupled units-frames having capping hydraulic props with hinged supports, bases with table for drive of face conveyor installed on one of said bases. Novelty consists in that table has mechanism for moving in height and is installed for turning round horizontal axis and lateral motion relative to support base. Mechanism of motion in height may be made in form of two vertically installed hydraulic jacks whose one ends are hinged to base, and the other ends are secured to brackets to whose side surfaces portable supports are secured and whose axles carry hinged load-carrying beam. EFFECT: provision of such design of support which allows it and face conveyor to adapt themselves to varying parameters of extracted bed. 2 cl, 4 dwg
