JUNCTION POWERED SUPPORT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mining, particularly, powered supports of longwall-to-gate junctions. SUBSTANCE: support includes two coupled units-frames which have cappings, bases, hydraulic props with hinged supports and mechanism of moving the units-frames. Novelty consists in that units-frames are made of different lengths, and drive of face conveyor is located on base of short unit. Moving mechanism is made in form of anchorage unit installed with lead relative to units- frames and having rams or pulling which connected with units by means of flexible ties, for instance, of ship chain or rope. EFFECT: provision of support with independent and directed advance of units-frames. 3 dwg
