FIELD: oil refining industry. SUBSTANCE: oil raffinates are subjected to hydrotreatment by contacting stock in first stage with high-silica catalyst, ratios of components being as follows; nickel oxide, 4-6; molybdenum or chromium oxide, 8-15; tin oxide, 0.1-0.5; silicon oxide, 42-56; γ aluminium oxide, up to 100; in second stage first stage products are contacted with catalyst having low silicon content, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: nickel oxide, 4-6; molybdenum oxide, 12- 17; boron oxide, 0.1-1.5; silicon oxide, 0.1-1.5; γ aluminium oxide, up to 100 at volume content of first and second stage catalyst ratios from 1:8 to 1:15 under identical conditions in both stages: temperature is 300- 400 C, pressure is 2.5-5.0 MPa, volumetric stock feed rate is 1-3h-1. Method makes it possible to select on greater scale and improve quality of deparaffinized based oils. EFFECT: more efficient hydrotreatment method. 6 ex, 1 tbl
