FIELD: zirconium-base alloys. SUBSTANCE: zirconium-base alloy contains the following components, wt.%: niobium 0.5-3.0; thin 0.5-2.0; iron 0.3-1.0; chromium 0.002-0.2; carbon 0.003-0.04; oxygen 0.04-0.15; silicon 0.002-0.15; one element selected from group containing tungsten, molybdenum or vanadium 0.001-0.4; the balance, zirconium. Microstructure of alloy is characterized by iron-niobium-containing particles sizing not more than 0.3 mcm uniformly located in alpha-solid solution. Invention allows production of zirconium-base material whose articles used in active zone of nuclear reactors have higher strength and resistance to irradiation growth and creepage at temperature of 300-350 C due to creation in them of definite in them of definite microstructure, with preservation of high resistance to corrosion and destruction. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 2 tbl
