UNIT FOR SPRAYING OF VOLATILE ACTIVE INGREDIENT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sprayer unit for spraying of volatile active ingredient from the backing that passes air and serves as a part of a replaceable assembly. SUBSTANCE: the sprayer unit has a body with inlet and outlet holes and an air flow duct passing between them. Provision is made for a bearing facility for supporting the replaceable assembly with backing located in the air flow duct. A ventilation device for feeding from a galvanic cell is provided for driving air from the inlet hole through the backing and discharge it through the outlet hole. The galvanic cell holder holds the galvanic cell in such a manner that the replaceable assembly, incompletely inserted in the bearing facility of the replaceable assembly, prevents the galvanic cell from installation in the galvanic cell holder, whereas a properly placed galvanic cell prevents removal of the replaceable assembly from the air flow duct, supported by means of the bearing facility of the replaceable member. Proper installation of the galvanic cell in the galvanic cell holder is sufficient both for monitoring and maintaining of proper installation of the replaceable assembly in the air flow duct. The replaceable assembly passing air intended for use jointly with the sprayer unit comprises an air passing backing and a lug attached to the backing edge. The lug has a brace surface facing, as a rule, lengthwise from the backing, and having a shape providing for engagement with surface of the galvanic cell held in the galvanic cell holder of the sprayer unit.
