FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of air treatment with various volatile chemicals. The substrate that may actively release a volatile chemical of air treatment, when heated, contains grain particles glued to each other to form a body with porous structure, and a volatile chemical of air treatment arranged in pores. At the same time the substrate has the first end and the second opposite end, besides, the average size of grain particles near the first end is less than the average size of the grain particles near the second end, so that the first end may absorb the air treatment chemical as the air treatment chemical is released from the second end. The group of inventions also relates to the method to release a volatile chemical of air treatment from the substrate by means of its heating and to the method of substrate formation. The method to form a substrate includes placement of grain particles into a form, shaking the form to move the smaller grain particles below the relatively large grain particles in the form, and formation of the substrate in the form.
EFFECT: produced substrates ensure efficient spraying of air treatment chemicals and have characteristics of inoculating emission of multiple action.
