SUBSTANCE: invention describes an inhibitor of testosterone 5α-reductase of the molecular formula (I) 5α where dotted line means optional pi-bond; 5α means hydrogen atom or methyl-group but if the indicated optional bond is absent then it does not mean hydrogen atom; 
means hydrogen atom; R4 means hydrogen atom; R6 means hydrogen atom or lower alkyl and R7 means R17α-alkyl or aryl tertiary amino-group or R17β-alkyl or aryl amido-group. New compounds can be used for treatment of patients with androgen-sensitive diseases course of that can be delayed by inhibition of androgenic receptors activation. Invention describes also a composition based on compounds of the formula (I) and a method of inhibition of activity of testosterone C1-C7-reductase.
