FIELD: electromechanical engineering and other industries. SUBSTANCE: magnetic cores are manufactured with greater number of teeth for which purpose teeth are made by cutting wedge-shaped multilayer ribbon built up of coiled stacks one inserted into other and having different width and number of layers; teeth are joined to yoke through fastening member in the form of annular trough whose side walls have tabs bent out towards yoke during assembly upon its placing in groove to form radial ducts for placing teeth on yoke when assembling magnetic core on automatic assembling machine. Assembly is made by displacing teeth in radial direction from periphery to center using effect of teeth wedging in these ducts; upon placing all teeth, fastening element tabs and outer surfaces of teeth are compressed to ensure reliable teeth-to-yoke joint. EFFECT: improved electromagnetic characteristics and reliability of core parts, facilitated manufacture due to automating assembly processes. 9 cl, 14 dwg
