METHOD OF PROPHYLAXIS OF LOCAL AND GENERAL POSTISCHEMIC COMPLICATIONS IN LONG-STANDING COMPRESSION INJURY TO EXTREMITY Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, more precisely, traumatology; applicable in rendering medical care to patients with long-standing compression injury to extremity; also applicable in veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes regional introduction into affected extremity of liposome preparation. In preferable version, liposome preparation, first, is dissolved with liquid and injected into adducting main artery. In other preferable version, liposome preparation is injected at the moment of restoration of regional blood flow for, at least, 30 min. As a result, time of effect of preparation is lengthened due to increase of volume and duration of liposome preparation injection. In some other preferable version, prior to injection of liposome preparation, lumen of adducting main artery is narrowed. This results in short-time hypoperfusion of tissues in zone of ischemia at the initial period of adaptation of vascular wall to postischemic conditions that is responsible for increased effect of liposomes on injured tissues. EFFECT: reduced possibility of postischemic disturbances and complications in restoration of blood flow in ischemized tissues for a long time. 4 cl, 1 ex
