FIELD: rescue works. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing lowering cable system at selected lowering site; placing at least one pulling cable on each storey; lowering pulling cable from place defined by rescuers and securing one end of pulling cable on building foundation in case of occurrence of fire-hazard situation; fastening power cable with carbine and ring to lowered end of pulling cable, with power cable length being at least double the height of building; pulling power cable to site predetermined for organized lowering and attaching ring to building fittings; putting carbine onto ring and directing power cable through it; pulling end of power cable till it comes into contact with building foundation; fastening rescuer to one end of power cable and raising him to place adapted for organizing lowering process; providing lowering of building dwellers organized by rescuer with the usage of cable system by any known method. EFFECT: increased efficiency by organizing lowering cable system at any point most safe for dwellers. 5 cl, 4 dwg
