FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises warning, controlling people flows in rescue routes and moving them out of dangerous zone. Rescuing system consists of the elements with their number making N-10 where N is the number of high-rise building floors. In emergency, rescuing system is changed into operating conditions at a time with warning, peoples' flow is directed to rescuing system elements and accommodated therein, rescuing system elements are checked for transfer, rescuing system is actuated, disconnected from the building, moved to horizontal position to makes them contact with adjacent territory, rescuing system elements are automatically opened to move people out of dangerous zone. Proposed device comprises rescuing system arranged in recess in one of building walls, all over its height, and consists of telescopic support with one end pivoted to the building foundation. Other end of telescopic support accommodates rescuing system elements arranged at the level of each floor and made up of cabs pivoted to said telescopic support. The latter rests on supports equipped with hydraulic drive. Each cab is connected to receiving control instrument arranged on rescuing system control board, furnished with door and illuminated doorways, voice communication device, automatic signalling about cab door closing, two-level handrails and appliance for locking invalid's wheelchair. Cab wall adjoining building wall is coated by heat reflecting material.

EFFECT: reduced time of people evacuation.
