WINDOW REGULATOR DRIVE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: transport engineering; window glass raising and lowering mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: window regulator drive has electric motor with output shaft coupled through corresponding unit with mechanism transmitting rotation to window regulator member. Coupling unit is made in form of two shafts whose axes intersect at different angles, one shaft being coupled with motor output shaft, and the other, with mechanism transmitting rotation to window regulator member. Shafts in proposed construction can be connected through screw drive or propeller shaft drive. Shaft coupled with mechanism transmitting rotation to window regulator member can be made detachable and flexible, or one end of shaft can be secured in rotation transmitting mechanism and second end can be made for bringing out of engagement with second shaft of coupling unit. This shaft can be made sectional, its component parts can be coupled through propeller shaft drive. All units of proposed window regulator can be installed on one base. Electric motor can be made flat. EFFECT: possibility of mounting proposed window regulator in any convenient place in automobile door. 10 cl, 6 dwg
