BUNDLING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: bundling assemblies used at timber rafting. SUBSTANCE: the machine has a transverse conveyer and two binding mechanisms with a common drive. The binding mechanisms comprises two hollow L-shaped levers. The levers are coupled to aligned shafts rigidly or by a splined joint. The shafts are engaged with bevel pinions which at the same time are engaged with a bevel pinion fitted on the same shaft with a spur pinion. EFFECT: reduced labour input in production of flat load units for their subsequent joining in bundles without rebundling. 2 cl, 2 dwg
