SUBSTANCE: the saw has a bed frame, balancing frame with a rocker, planetary mechanism of the disk saw overriding and a feed mechanism of the timber to be sawn. A double-cardan drive is installed between the feed mechanism of the timber to be sawn and the planetary mechanism of the disk saw overriding, the axes of both cardan shafts are positioned in planes that are parallel with the plane of the disk saw, and the cardan shafts are coupled in succession below the axis of oscillation of the rocker with the aid of a gear drive, an electromagnetic clutch is positioned near the axis on one of the shafts, and the cardan shaft on the side of the disk saw overriding is made of two components with an axial splined joint. The gear drives installed on the balancing frame, rocker supports and in the feed mechanism of the timber to be sawn are positioned in bodies.

EFFECT: enhanced precision of wood cutting.
