FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises mixing film-forming pentaphthalic varnish, pigment, stabilizing additive and solvent. Mixing is carried out in high- speed mixer at filling height of 2-2.5 of stirrer, 70% of varnish formulation are first charged into mixer and pigment or mixture of pigments are gradually added during slow rotation o mixer and then stirred to triturating degree of 80-100 mcm. Pigment to varnish weight ratio is 0.35-0.35, remaining amount of varnish is added and once again stirred, and mixture is ground in bisse mill at its filling coefficient of 0.5-0.55, and as soon as dispersion degree of 20-25 mcm is reached, mixture is placed into mixer with turbine stirrer and water jacket for cooling, solvent and flotation additive are added and stirred till mixture becomes homogeneous and has viscosity of 60-120 C. Stabilizing siccative additive is then added, once again stirred, and after filtration is packed. Film-forming agent, e. g. pentaphthalic varnish, pigment, solvent, flotation additive, stabilizing siccative additive are used, ratios of components (wt %) being as follows: pentaphthalic varnish, 63.0-0.63.5; pigment of mixture of pigments, 9.0-27.2; siccative, 1.47-4.3; flotation additive (organosilicon liquid) or emulsol, 0.01-0.3; and the solvent (white spirit) balance. EFFECT: new technology of preparing pentaphthalic enamels under optimum hydrodynamic and absorption conditions for forming paint product at higher atmosphere resistance of coatings and lower cost price of products; claimed pentaphthalic enamels are intended for painting metallic, wood and other surfaces by spraying, pouring around in jets, dipping, and using brush; the resulting coating is resistant to varying temperatures from -50 C to +60 C, in moderate and tropical climates. 5 cl, 2 tbl
