FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to separation of magnetic particles from mixture carrying them and to their transfer into liquid. Magnetic means in the form of rod with proportion of length to thickness amounting to 3:1 predominantly and having sharpened end section is brought into mixture. Magnetic particles from mixture are collected on end section of rod that is removed together with particles from mixture, lower part of rod is dipped into vessel with liquid and magnetic particles are released by withdrawal of magnetic means from lower part of device. EFFECT: convenient and efficient collection of magnetic particles contained in large vessel with transfer of these particles into vessel of smaller capacity. 11 cl, 4 dwg
