FIELD: checking of geometric dimensions and defects such as erosion grids, chipping, cracks of glassware. SUBSTANCE: the machine has a bed, framework, rotary table with an electric motor, sprocket for feeding the test object from the conveyer belt, sprocket for returning the test object to the conveyer belt, TV cameras, data processor and a sorting device. The speed of the rotary table motor and the speed of the conveyer motor are automatically synchronized. The machine also has graduating sprockets. One of them through chain and gear drives is coupled with the sprocket for feeding the test object from the conveyer belt, and the other through chain and gear drives is coupled with sprocket for returning the test object to the conveyer belt. The TV cameras are located in such a way that their optical axes are shifted by 120 deg. relative to one another. Illuminators are installed opposite each TV camera. The illuminators comprise light-diffusing screen and matrices of light-emitting diodes. The height and width of the light-diffusing screens are selected proceeding from relation (0.2-0.8)L, where L - distance between the TV camera and light-diffusing screen.
