FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: bucket sampler of loose material consists of case, of driving and driven sprockets actuated by means of reducer and electric engine, of chain gear, of limit switches and of bucket. The bucket corresponds to a cylinder rotating relative to its lengthwise axis; the cylinder has a rectangular or square port in an upper part made along secant plane of circumference chord of the cylinder base. Also, length of chord is where d is diametre of the cylinder, φ is central angle of chord changing within the ranges 90°≤φ≤180°. The port is overlapped with two plates installed at angle to each other and along tangent to cylinder surface, thus forming triangle with chord in the base. In the upper part of the cylinder there is made a lengthwise slit, width of which is controlled by means of knives travelling along plane of the plates. Notably, width of the slit is multiple to maximal size of tested material and its length is longer or equal to width of falling flow of material. The bucket is installed inside free falling flow of material and can travel crosswise along a guide of the frame by means of bearing and holding rollers with an elongated slot equal in cross section to profile of the guide. The bucket travels at a constant specified rate to an extreme position of the frame, whereon there is mounted a rotary device.

EFFECT: reliable sampling of loose, including moist, material moving along conveyor belt; facilitating usage of instruments of continuous control over material quality or for manual sampling.
