FIELD: transport engineering; checking tyre pressure, diameter, load, etc. SUBSTANCE: proposed device installed on roadway of vehicle check point has platform with limiter installed by means of axle, driving and driven bell-cranks provided with stops furnished with pull-back springs relative to platform and each other. Guide with needle is installed on meter for independent movement. Number of needles and needle-to-needle spaces are selected to provide getting of needles into tyre tread pattern grooves. Upper operating position of needles is provided by separate springs. Device has detectors one of which is secured on lower arm of one bell-crank and is hinge coupled with lower arm of other bell-crank by means of handle and tie-rod. Other detector is secured on platform coupled with lower arms of needles by means of handle. Change in summary stress is recorded by indicator provided with scale graduated in parameter values. EFFECT: increased capacity owing to optimum design, enlarged operating capabilities, simplified operation. 6 dwg
